Currently, the market can find a lot of covers for various smartphones. Due to the large selection it is sometimes difficult to choose the right and perfect for each other. I got from you a lot of questions about Leather Cover for Samsung Galaxy dedicated S7, so today I invite you to review the case.
Appearance and quality
Cover is packed in a minimalist package. In the middle we find cover and user information in paper form. That’s all.
As the name suggests, Leather Cover is made mostly of leather. It is stretched to form tailored to the phone, which was probably made from a plastic. From the inside of the cover are finished in suede, and the border around the notches on the camera – plastic. The whole gives the impression of a well-made, but the same cover is relatively “flexible”. Nothing stands out, and fold and combining various materials are exemplary.
Leather Cover is a little thicker than ordinary plastic caps on the back. Above the screen protrudes a little rant, to be able to put your phone face down without worrying about the risk of scratching it. Looking from the top is fine, a small notch on the microphone. On the left side you will find quite a lot of the notch on the volume control buttons, and the right notch on the power button. Access to the buttons is exemplary. The lower edge is largely unprotected. Cover only covers your corners, which naturally provides seamless access to the microphone, speaker and a microUSB port. In the back of the cover was stamped with the manufacturer’s logo and the notch on the camera.
Impressions from the use
Leather Cover is very pleasant to the touch, not slippery . Is reflected characteristic texture. The grip is very confident and fit for your exemplary. However, we need to watch out for one thing, namely, the harder you press on the lower corners that he can come off the phone in this section. Sometimes it happens to me when removing Galaxy S7 from his pocket. This raises some concerns … With the possible fall from a height, face down, cover may not meet its primary task. Pulling the phone out of his pocket with the assumed Leather Cover will not experience the unpleasant effect of pulling the whole pocket with him.
After three weeks, the use of this accessory, you can see the light wiping the skin, especially where Cover is rounded, mainly corners. In these places it is more shiny and slippery, and the invoice itself less palpable. This does not affect, fortunately, a negative reception whole or grip, which remains great. Samsung Galaxy S7 clothed in Leather Cover can without any problem to charge induction.
The aforementioned rant, so subtly overlaps the front of the phone, that in no way interferes to gesture shift from right or left side of the screen trigger an action. As I mentioned earlier, I have no problem with using the volume buttons and the power button. Excision is so large that often do not even touch the edge of the case.
With all the edges Leather Cover collects a lot of dust. The most vulnerable place for picking up the filth of all kinds is undoubtedly a notch at the camera. I therefore recommend approximately every 2 – 3 days picture Cover and clean himself, and phone. A little particles get between the cover and the smartphone, but I have not noticed that the rear part of the case was in any way scratched.
Summary
Leather Cover is certainly an interesting offer cover for Samsung Galaxy S7. It is very well made, good looks and provides a very pleasant grip. But I can not help feeling that the leather cases performed by Apple to be positive, and this is due to face down the volume buttons and power. It gives me a sense of greater unity, it looks more consistent and aesthetically. After three weeks of testing I’m even happy with this accessory. I know, however, that selecting the mountains, on land or on a bike much more I would prefer to “dress” Galaxy S7 something “stronger”, something that would give me a greater sense of protection, something like UAG Armor Gear.
Cost Leather Cover to hover around 120 zł, because the more or less can be purchased today at auction sites. On the day of writing this review was not yet available in stores in Poland.
