Photographic comparison: Samsung Galaxy S7 vs LG G5 – Tabletowo.pl

The best camera is the one that we actually have in your pocket. At a time when every smartphone we are able to make a successful or even great photographs, this statement makes even more sense. the more that this year’s flagship really give a show in terms of photo features – yes, I know the next year and the next I’ll probably write the same thing. But that’s what is beautiful in the development of mobile technology! Meanwhile, I invite on a photographic comparison of two very interesting smartphones: Samsung Galaxy S7 and LG G5.

Last I compared to you cameras Huawei P9 with Samsung Galaxy S7 – by comments see that this type of entries fell to you to enjoy. Relax, we will be gradually continue, especially since we have these wonderful sliders (excuse me, but really I am pleased to implement this solution!), so that it is much easier to compare two pictures and draw conclusions, that is – in our opinion – the better. This inclusion is very important – we must remember that each of us like a completely different effects obtained in the photographs, as well as each of us has their own specific preferences even in the selection of headphones (the same model two people can evaluate extremely different). Not without reason, the choice smartphone, which makes better pictures, just leave you in the polls. And so is the case this time.

Let’s get to the point. Cameras on the paper are as follows:

  • Samsung Galaxy S7: 12 megapixels, the Sony IMX260, 1.4 micron, f / 1.7, .jpg and RAW, OIS, 4032 x 3024 pixels
  • LG G5: 16 megapixels, 1.12 micron, f / 1.8, .jpg and RAW, OIS, 5312 x 2988 pixels.

Application of the camera and quick launcher

in smartphones, in addition to the image quality we should also depend on the ability to instantly launch applications – especially in the case of unexpected events. The Galaxy S7 just double-press the physical Home button, while the G5 – even twice, but press the volume down button. In both cases, the camera starts literally in the blink of an eye, and the difference in speed is fractions of a second.

Applications camera in both models look different and somewhat differently supports them. The Galaxy S7 everything we have at hand, and the transition to the modes and captured images is done by moving a finger across the screen right-left; LG in turn results in a change from the camera back to front and vice versa. At Samsung, the tapnięciu in gear, reveals a long list with lots of camera settings (video size, image movement, AF tracking, video stabilization, grid lines, labels location, shooting method, see photos, quick start-up, save as RAW, volume key functions, correction of shape), and LG is very few, in addition, available in the form of icons (changing resolution images and video quality, the HDR mode, filters, self-timer, switching speed voice, OIS, grid lines). Mode Galaxy S7 is also more (professional, selective focus area, panorama, collage films, virtual image, food, hyperlapse, slow movement and emission live, and additional can be downloaded from the store), and G5 – a little less, and among them a novelty in the form of images in pop-up window (the other: frame by frame, slow motion, multi-view, panorama and video snap).

View LG G5 can be simple (then the picture is taken after tapnięciu the screen, not it is available shutter button), basic (all major settings) and manual, and each of them have the option to switch to a wide-angle lens (automatically reduces the resolution to 8 megapixels). In turn, the Galaxy S7 view is still the same – changes only when you select the professional mode. In it, in both cases, we can adjust the white balance, exposure value, aperture, focus and ISO (the Galaxy S7 – 800, the G5 – 3200).
