The first tests of the new masthead LG. How does it compare with … – Virtual Poland

On the web, the first performance test results of the new smartphone from LG. Is good, but could be better ..

G4 is a new, top-smartphone from LG. I actually quite well equipped with a 6-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor 808, Adreno 418 graphics and 3GB of RAM type LPDDR3. It is certainly not a level which the producer would be ashamed of, but the problem lies in the fact that the best models of other companies find either Snapdragon 810, or MediaTek MT6595 (Huaweii and Meizu), or finally – as in the case of Samsung Galaxy S6 – developed by the manufacturer Exynos 7420.

LG G4 debuted later of these structures, so one might expect that the company’s designers draw out of a hat equipment even stronger and more powerful. Indeed, the Snapdragon 808 proved to be something of a surprise, but when it comes to performance in benchmarks … oh well. See for yourself:

It is worth noting that the same CPU performance LG G4 (benchmarks Vellamo Metal and Basemark OS II) proved to be surprisingly high – Snapdragon 808 losing only with Samsung Exynos in the Galaxy S6. Worse cope with demanding graphics display (eg. GFXBench T-Rex HD on-screen) and the overall efficiency of the system (eg. AnTuTu). G4 loses among other things, the Galaxy Note 4, which is a structure presented as early as September last year.

So we can say that the new smartphone LG offers overall performance level of current smartphones from the class “upper middle” and not “absolutely tops out”. I hope this has been reflected also in the company’s pricing policy.
