The challenge does not apply to building your own consoles or creating proprietary system, and changes in GOG in the service stripped characteristics Steam . These features include the necessity of being online, automatic updates when you start purchased titles or the necessity of entering the code when you first start the game. GOG Galaxy resign from it all – once purchased a game is charging a user disk, and its launch will not need the network, and all updates or achievements show the world is optional. The following video explains the whole idea.

Terms of service activities are not changed one iota, and the client GOG Galaxy is a completely free choice of the user. If someone wants to join the beta test site, should enter this page and select “Join”. Your email address will be sent an invitation. Unfortunately, users who still work for Windows XP or Vista are not welcome – the service is for people who use Windows 7 and higher education systems, and for Mac OS X – version 10.8 and higher.
