Lasting more than a half-minute spot Samsung prepared by agency Leo Burnett in Chicago and Sydney consists of only two parts – music and dynamically changing images.
It starts with the girls singing with a smartphone in the hands anthem Botswana on the edge of the stormy sea. After a moment, the picture changes by showing the viewer a completely different character singing a different song.
The idea of spot lies in the fact that each of the residents of a particular country is singing the anthem of another country. It is therefore the national song of Malaysia made by a woman in Paris, and the anthem of New Zealand is a group sung by the British.
– Spot “The Anthem” is an expression of our desire to overcome geographical barriers and bring people together using modern technology – explains in a press Younghee Lee, deputy head of marketing at Samsung Electronics.
in the final spot single line of each of the selected hymns form one song, which is to the spirit of the international community and friendship during the upcoming Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, which will begin on August 5 this year.
