Samsung Galaxy S6 bent on their own terms – TELEPOLIS.PL

Samsung decided to conduct his own test of resistance to bending Galaxy Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge. It is a bit different, however, from that presented a few days ago by the portal SquareTrend .

At first glance, everything looks the same. Very similar testing machine, the same smartphones, but the main difference lies in the strength of the pressure. While the SquareTrend put the Galaxy S6 Edge maximum load, so Samsung has used this a lot less power. In the first test smartphone pressure was 110 pounds (49.9 kg) to its bending and the casing burst at 149 pounds (67.59 kg). Samsung’s test was theoretically more accurate, because housing were bent on both sides, both the screen up and down, but the force used was much smaller. How Come?

The Koreans have linked their flagship smartphones resistance with resistance … pencils. Well, break one pencil is easy, but breaking five pencils at once is difficult to do with his bare hands. They crack under the pressure of 80 pounds (36.28 kg) and exactly the force used to bend housings Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge Galaxy. The test result shown in the following video.
