After Galaxy Round, which – remember – do not appear on our official distribution market, it is time to experiment with the device on the version of Galaxy Note 4 – Note Edge is another idea for the development of the Samsung Series phabletów great.
Edge is very similar to Note 4, because those who are interested in the performance, the camera and the software, refer to my review SGN4. In the case of Note Edge will focus more on the Korean innovation, ie the edge screen and its functionality. But first briefly about the differences separating Note 4 and Note Edge. Asymmetric Edge casing makes the unit is slightly wider than the Note 4. Firstly, we can set the edge screen icons for us the most important applications, and even upload entire directories, which not only is very convenient, but also much faster to use – one thumb movement frees us from unnecessary “gymnastics”, which in the case of large screens has crucial. On the screen, you can set an edge most important contacts assigning a phone number, which greatly simplifies the operation. We can of course add more bars – some of them can be found in the settings, while others – the Galaxy Apps. One option: weather-strip, where there are also notified. It is also very useful application bar S Health, sports bar with information about the results of your favorite teams, trends from Twitter, stock market information, or even … a simple game. The Galaxy Apps selection strips for the edge of the screen is considerably larger. After more than a two-week test, I am convinced that Galaxy Note Edge is a great device, maybe even the best of the entire series phabletów Samsung. But I am also aware of the fact that its benefits (even a whole lot of advantages – in addition to the innovative edge, including the execution of software and finally a great camera) will appreciate the rather few. The more that the device is expensive – the high price of a derivative in the production of expensive new technology and at the same time limited availability.
