An experiment conducted SquareTrade, using a special device performing a particular emphasis on strength. The test consisted of twice attempting to bend the smartphone. iPhone 6 bent after the load with the severity of 110 pounds (approx. 50 kg). The maximum possible weight needed for the complete destruction of the equipment was 179 pounds (approx. 81 kg).
In the case of HTC One M9 smartphone bent under the weight of 120 pounds (approx. 54 kg). Is destroyed, however, the power button located exactly in the center of the housing. Smartphone, therefore, could not be turned on or off.
The last device tested was the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, which … 110 pounds also need to bend. Here, however, there was a rupture of the display. And although he acted as usual, it did not look too good. Complete destruction of the device occurred after increasing severity to 149 pounds (approx. 68 kg).

In light of these results, it seems that the affair with the iPhones wyginającymi actually was exaggerated, and its deplorable results. The question is whether the same will now look for the latest smartphone from Samsung.
At the same time we must not forget that we are talking about synthetic tests, where the pressure point is one. No one in this way does not treat their smartphones. Wearing them in your pocket makes them vulnerable to some other inconvenience.
