To be or not to be Samsung? Last resort? Decisive product? Some probably attribute the Galaxy S6 premiere too many meanings. There is no doubt, however, that just saw one of the leading smartphones this year. What can you write about it? First of all, it looks insanely!
The model Samsung IFA Berlin presents two devices: the classic version of the Galaxy S6 and Edge with curved sides of the display. Both traditional displays equipped with Quad HD resolution (2560 x 1440 px). This gives the record density of pixels at 577 PPI. Screens are theoretically the same – 5.1-inch. In practice, however, the Galaxy S6 Edge seems to offer slightly less workspace than the classic version. It should be noted that the edges are not folded are so strong as in the model Galaxy Note 4 Edge. This severely limits their functionality.
Plastics gone into oblivion

Well, the camera already in the S5 was very good, so the manufacturer does not have too much here to improvements in the field.
The new smartphones are slightly thinner than the previous generation. This resulted in smaller batteries that are only 2600 mAh capacity. Does not necessarily mean, however, that the new Galaxy will work briefly. Samsung has applied here because its copyright 7420 Exynos chips manufactured in 14 nm lithography (to be up to 35 per cent. More efficient energy management). It consists of eight cores four energy-efficient, four-oriented performance. Complementing all of this is 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB LPDDR4 memory (of sales will be including 64 GB and 128 GB).
Samsung had to go make some compromises, so unlike the smartphone Galaxy S5 does not Here you will find a MicroSD card slot. Also abandoned replaceable batteries. Is it a big problem? No, but it certainly will be a group of users for whom these were decisive factors when choosing a new smartphone.
TouchWiz gone into oblivion
The new Samsung Galaxy S6 is also the new software. Koreans decided to break up with TouchWiz ponderous and believed to be free (which actually was). The new overlay, but visually different so much, is much more bubbly. The manufacturer shall ensure that threw everything into the trash and built it from scratch in order to get the best possible experience. The new system is also less bloatware’u. The only one for which I came here is actually now pack from Google, which will interfere with those who do not prefer Californian services. The Samsung Galaxy S6 is not compatible with the standard IP67. It’s hard to say why this was abandoned. Too high production costs? This should solve all the problems associated with it.
In addition, the Galaxy S6 induction charging supports all standards, and that makes it quite versatile in the field. Apparently, some time in the stores are to appear sets with attached wireless chargers. In addition, the improved mechanism for a quick charge to win in 10 minutes to 4 hours. Not bad!
Interestingly promises to Samsung Pay service, which will debut in the US later this year. Samsung apparently throws the gauntlet Apple’owi, but also will compete here with the same Google. The latter has yet to show a new installment of their payments at the conference I / O. It will be hot. Unfortunately, not here – I’m very curious when (and if ever) we will see Samsung Pay the Vistula River.
It was only the Galaxy
I have no doubt that this will be the best-selling Galaxy S in history. Samsung has done it right – well done cover, eliminate existing problems and introduce improvements in areas where it was most needed. At the same time the new flagship constructed so as not to have to share profits with anyone, basing it on the holder chip.
A particularly interesting in all this is the model Edge. This is the aftermath of popularity Note’a Edge, who met with interest, which surprised the same manufacturer. Factory could not keep up with the production of curved screens, and the device has become a symbol of the changes in the company. Galaxy S6 Edge is another step in that direction and the effect of “wow!”, The Koreans really need. And although I definitely would prefer the classic version, I am convinced that Edge will be warmly welcomed by customers.
Both models will go on sale April 10. Prices will be given in the near future, as we get official information from Samsung.
