The device has a 7-inch TFT display with a resolution of 600 x 1024 pixels, dual-core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz, 1 GB RAM, 8 or 16 GB of flash memory, microSD card slot, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, and a battery with a capacity of 4000 mAh. The new model measures 9.9 mm thick, and weighs 305 grams, which makes it a little more compact and lighter than the Galaxy Taba 2 7.0.
It is also present Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, but there is no announcement of updates to the latest version.

Galaxy Tab 7.0 will hit the shelves in May, and the version with 3G connectivity will debut in June.
