Even before its release, it was obvious that the Galaxy S 4 will be a great commercial success, but sales exceeded expectations.
The newest version
flagship smartphone Galaxy S in just two weeks has sold over 6 million copies in the first four days of release in all Korean broke all records – 4 million units sold. Samsung hopes to sell 10 million Galaxy S 4 in the first month of market launch, and the pace of sales, it’s definitely doable.
Galaxy S 4 sold several times better than its predecessor, although it has a very stiff competition on the market in the form of iPhone 5, Lumii 920 and the recently released HTC One or Sony Xperia Z
For comparison, Samsung sold 3 million Galaxy S III models in 21 days, and the Galaxy S II in 55 days after its release. Age Galaxy S has reached this limit only after 85 days.
It should be noted that the word “sold” for Samsung is delivered to the operator or retail store. Samsung still has to chase Apple, the iPhone in such numbers are typically sold in the first two days (weekend) after the release and matters of art “sold” as actually delivered to the customer’s hands.
