Since the majority of smartphone owners use them as a main camera manufacturers would go out of their possible streamline the process of taking good pictures. One of the elements that have appeared recently in the flagship models is optical image stabilization. Unfortunately, all indications are that the technology that runs in the model Samsung Galaxy S5 . Why?
Samsung Galaxy S5 – what camera?
This is not the first time I hear about flagowcu Samsung, which would be equipped with optical image stabilization. The first batch of such rumors came before the release of Galaxy Note 3, but eventually it turned out that all the leaks were false. Interestingly, the Korean manufacturer has already reportedly keeping an eye on two cameras OIS technology, the matrices in sequence 13MP and 16MP, which would (according to previous messages) to hit the Galaxy S5. They will not, however, be used, not least in the immediate generation.
No OIS
The reasons for this are several. According to the Korean portal ETnews, Samsung Galaxy S5 will be too narrow to accommodate a relatively large image stabilization unit. This would indicate a thickness less than that of the LG G2 or Nexus 5, perhaps at the level of Sony Xperia Z Ultra. An additional reason, perhaps more important, the concern about the inability to provide a sufficient number of components underlying the actual manufacturers. Unless Sony or LG with several million copies can afford to light extravaganza, the Samsung Galaxy S5 will spread in tens of millions probably in the first quarter, and this means that each bottleneck Koreans reduce profits.
Interestingly, Samsung stewards know that the whole competition has already used the module, but the company apparently believes that the Galaxy S5 defend itself and without it. Of course, all the above information are unofficial, so the premiere flagship can still surprise us yet.
