Galaxy Note 3 - the third part of the adventure samsungowego stylus - Computer World (press release)

first Galaxy Note shocked and amazed screen size performance, but pretty much already grown old. Note II was a great smartphone, but with such a high price somewhat disappointing the quality of the housing, which did not give the user a sense of solidity and class of device. Now our pockets gets the third edition of Note can human marked SM-N9005. Let’s see if designing the Galaxy Note 3 Samsung engineers rose to the challenge and finally constructed smartphone without flaws?

first impression

Looking at the packaging drewnopodobnemu Galaxy Note 3 I had no doubt that its content must be somehow related to a family of smartphones Galaxy S4 – we are in fact the same jars and the same quality cardboard box (image below).

My hunch, however, turned out to be true only to a certain extent, as in the style Note can human 3 is easier to detect a return to almost rectangular shape known from the first series of Galaxy Note GT-N7000, than the milder, more zaoblonych corners of the line smartphones Note can human Galaxy S4 and II.

SM-N9005 , however, has a much thinner frame around the screen than the GT-N7000, which clearly adds a new model of elegance (photos below). Narrower border panel probably necessitated not only by purely aesthetic, but also the size of the display used. Its diagonal grown since to 5.7 inches while maintaining the overall dimensions of the device very similar to the previous edition of the Galaxy Note. For the record, the GT-N7000 has a screen size of 5.3 inches, and Note II – 5.5 inches.

A big surprise for me was the rear panel of the Note can human 3 I was afraid that Samsung will apply here the same rickety structure that we know of the Galaxy S4. However, that luckily did not happen. Back SM-N9005 was obviously made of plastic and is not very thick, but in a very simple way to add his class – finishing the surface imitates natural for the skin. On the rear panel, however, not only embossed leather texture, but fictional embroidery running around its edges. Plastic, plastic, however, I must admit that the final result turned out to be really good (photo below).

sides of your smartphone creates a glossy, also plastic frame with thin, longitudinal grooves. Do not they just look interesting, but also provide a firmer grip of this, at any rate sizeable smartphone (photos below).

The upper part of the left side of the Note can human 3 we find a small button switch (photo bottom left). On the right side of the unit, roughly similar amounts manufacturer placed the long volume button, which at the time of the shooting also serves as a handle zoom (photo bottom right).

At the top we see Note can human 3 (photo bottom left, from left): window transmitter / IR receiver, microphone, and a second hole elegantly finished metal ring minijack headphone jack 3.5 millimeters.

We find here because (the picture on the bottom right, from left): slit for easy removal of the rear panel, the opening of the main microphone, jack Micro USB 3.0 , a grid masking sound outlet of the main speaker Note can human 3 and stylus slot .

The latter probably holding up in her nest, and we do not have to worry about accidentally falling out and getting lost S Pen.

Over screen smartphone (photo bottom left) we find not only the LED informs us about the status of the phone and incoming messages and calls, but also glittering ear speaker grille, a set of windows built-in sensors and small mesh front camera with a resolution of 2 megapixels.

Below the screen (photo bottom right) come across a classic Samsung phones – one mechanical Home button and two touch-sensitive, backlit boxes activating functions return and view the properties.

Under the pseudo-leather back panel (photo bottom left) hides a massive battery with a capacity of 3200 mAh (photo bottom right). It is a battery, which each user can be replaced. Its removal will also be necessary to install a SIM card.

Note 3 manufacturer has applied the SIM card slot that accepts a Micro SIM format. Just above it there were still a place for memory card slot micro SD / SDHC / SDXC (picture below).

get with the phone (photo bottom left): printed on gray paper set of instructions and brochures, USB AC charger with an output current 2 amps, wired headset (the same as in the case of other smartphones of the Galaxy S4 line ), five spare stylus tips with metal handle to remove the used pouch and USB cable-Micro USB 3.0.

Plug Micro USB 3.0 cable is a bit different than the ones we know from previous versions of the standard (photo bottom right), but to Micro USB 3.0 smartphone Note 3 also easily connect a USB 2.0 cable, because the new standard is backward compliant.
