Samsung Galaxy S6 has a great camera. The latest “curved” flagship of the Korean company – Galaxy S7 Edge – in this respect is even better.
Smartphone Galaxy S7 is refreshed Galaxy S6, which uses the solutions expected by consumers, such as a microSD memory card slot, or waterproof casing. The most important improvement, however, concerns the main camera, which now use 12-megapixel sensor (size 1 / 2.6 inch) relies on a large pixel size of 1.4 microns, the brightest F1.7 lens on the market, OIS and Intelligent Dual Pixel Technology ( all the pixels on the sensor are both cell detection phase) providing much better performance AF (especially in difficult lighting conditions).
Despite the reduction in the number of pixels compared to the Galaxy S6 (16 MP), the above parameters (large pixels, bright lens) gave hope that we will have to deal with the best camera on the market in your smartphone. Today we know that it is thanks to the thorough testing conducted by experts from the laboratory DxO who “took a workshop” curved version of the Edge. Out of 100 possible points installed in the camera module (the same is the Galaxy S7) gained 88 points. So we have a new leader who left behind, among others, Apple iPhone 6S Plus (84 points).
