at the beginning let’s one

In the Women’s Day in the pages Tabletowo published an article that betrayed a lot of information about the Galaxy S7 edge, a very comprehensive first impressions of use, but it can not be called a review (because those are, as you know, is not published after only four days of using the phone). Now, with a clear conscience I can say that the text was called the first part reviews the Galaxy S7 edge, in turn, the one who had just read, is the second part of the first complement. Therefore, in order to have a full picture of this device, you recommend to read the said article , and then the material that I prepared for you below.

curved display – YES or NO?

All models in the series edge stand out among the competition unusual, great design. Both sides curved display provides the product with interesting tone, unusual ever before. Until now was reserved only for Samsung products, but in the near future the market will debut smartphones with a similar structure even under the banner of Chinese brands, such as Vivo, Meizu and Xiaomi. what am I going?

First of all, in the near future the appearance of a curved smartphone somewhat become ordinary, and the equipment of such screens will be much more affordable. still, it will have the same flaws (defects? or maybe just features?), which can speak for the Galaxy S7 edge. and right now I’m going to was this awareness.

first of all, on both sides curved display, though that was not built, always at their edges will be reflected light, which can be annoying for the user.

second using smartphones with curved screens need to be aware that text selection, especially close to the edge, is often to exhibit a good dose of patience, because for the first, second, and sometimes third time he did not manage to do that, because just to the characteristics of the construction smartphone. I’ll instruct fairly quickly – a matter of practice.

Thirdly, in turn, holding the big phone in hand, it is easy to accidentally hook inside of the hand on the screen, and thus prevent us to use the screen and the appropriate response to touch . Many people complain that this situation meets mainly in the camera application, where the shutter button is not always want to respond to a user command – Well, it happened to me too ( “I keep bad”?). Interestingly, however, Samsung reportedly is already working on an update to fix this problem is (source).

And fourth, the functionality of the curved display is highly questionable. Apparently Android Marshmallow and new versions of the overlay Samsung introduced a lot of improvements in this respect, but still not encouraged me to make good use of these additional features. Eventually screen features edge were quickly turned off by me.

In summary section with a curved display in the Galaxy S7 edge. No hejtuję this solution. Moreover, I only attention to the fact that these problems that I mentioned, will be literally any equipment that will offer this type of screen. Therefore, it depends on us whether we like curved smartphones (I personally very much) or not, and whether we will be able to accept the features of these models and get used to them, because of course you can do it and it is an exclusive matter of time. I say this both as an owner of Galaxy S6 edge + and happy testerka Galaxy S7 edge.

Work

In the previous entry on Galaxy S7 edge I introduced you working time, which I was able to get the first few charge cycles. Now it’s time for more data. Let’s start with the fact that the fast charge takes 1.5 hours, and if we exclude them in the settings, the phone will charge from 0 to 100 percent in 2 hours and 15 minutes. Is fast loading affects the operating time? From my observation, not necessarily – and if so, slightly. By far, however, it affects the temperature of the housing smartphone, which, with this feature enabled reaches a really high temperatures during charging.

Battery Galaxy S7 edge, I admit, I am very happy. Without any problems, irrespective of whether they work only on WiFi, LTE, he resists all day and still left over it with energy greater or lesser part of the next day. So I am convinced that users are less exploiting their smartphones, they will charge the product every two days.

In terms of days, the longest the device worked me in a weekend, when I was able to get time 2 days and over 7 hours, with the screen on 4: 48h. In turn, the largest SoT (on screen time), I was able to squeeze out of this model, 7h when switching over 11h. Average SoT in my hands is about. 5,5-6h what I consider a very good result for flagowców.

Interestingly, one of the Twitter users managed to get 10h SoT … Do not believe me? Take a look at these screenshots:
