Contrary to appearances, compared to the Galaxy S6 Edge, a lot has changed. Again, we are dealing with both sides curved display, this time with a much bigger naturally, because 5.7-inch display. Through it is Samsung have come up with a body shape that is not enough, that it will be well presented, it still would imply that all will be better lay in his hand. I must admit that this art he perfectly successful.
All thanks to the fact that the side of the phone has been pretty much cut toward the rear of the housing. This makes the grip of the phone is more secure and somehow more natural. Definitely well in the hand despite its large size – 154.4 x 75.8 x 6.9 mm. Admittedly, the beheading edge was the perfect move on the part of Samsung’s designers, because significantly increase the comfort of using the phone. It is worth mentioning that while the curved edges of the present perfect and affect the appearance of the phone, also reflect light, which can sometimes be just a nuisance.
Operating the device with one hand, for the sake of its 5.7-inch display is despite all rather difficult. Of course you can try to manipulate the phone in your hand, but then we are exposed to the possibility slips out of her, what was not so difficult (especially since we are dealing with glass, slippery surface on the back). Therefore strongly recommend using it with one hand holding, and the other – serving. Taking more account of the dimensions model I noted that I had a hard time finding pants in my closet, where the front pocket easily have relied Galaxy S6 Edge Plus. Eventually, I was able to dig it one pair (and no, they are not militias). Men will enjoy this less of a problem, remember fact that the pockets of women’s pants are just a lot smaller.
The quality of performance I have nothing to complain about. The phone is a compact lump, which do not have the right to creak or flex under your fingers. As for the design itself, we still have to deal with the same line as the Galaxy S6 / S6 Edge, and therefore the front and rear glass and aluminum edges, which I personally really like it. I admit, however, that the gold version that I received for testing, not appealed to me. Much more prefer the classic versions – eg. The black.
Of course, not without a standard problem smartphones, or excessive passion for collecting fingerprints, which in the case of the glass surface it is extremely visible. On the resolution, which is 2560 x 1440 pixels (qHD), you do not have to write much. All rather well aware of the fact that the density of pixels per inch at 515 ppi means great image quality and sharpness of fonts, which translates into a high comfort smartphone.
In the display settings, you will find a very useful thing for such a large screen, namely mode one-handed operation . By including it we can easily reduce the displayed content to a window that you can safely embrace the thumb, which can not be said about the use of 5.7-inch screen. When enabled, simply three times quickly click the Home button, and the screen immediately decreases (it can get closer to the left or right edge, so people have thought both right- and left-hand). There is one option to facilitate their lives and use the large, namely putting one hand , which reduces keyboard, calculator, and the dialer.
The virtual keyboard, as befits a Samsung is excellent. The spacing between the individual keys are sufficiently large, as same keys.
