The tests G4 LG, Samsung Galaxy S6 and HTC One M9 will begin an assessment of the housing. The biggest surprise did Samsung, which heard the opinions of Internet users and resigned from the plastic housing for durable metal construction.
The metal case of Samsung Galaxy S6 gained in rigidity, but retains much of its distinctive style.
The casing is flat with a large button located just below the screen, has rounded corners and clearly protruding rear camera lens. The screen and the back of the smartphone is covered with a durable glass Gorilla Glass 4, which minimizes the risk of formation of cracks and scratches.

button to start the Galaxy S6 placed It is on the right edge of the casing and two additional volume controls on the left side. USB and headphone jacks mounted on the bottom edge. It is worth recalling that in the model G5 headphone jack was located on the upper edge of the casing, which is a significantly more convenient than placing it elsewhere – connected to the phone headset cord does not fold up and do not mind when carrying a smartphone in your pocket.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 is one of the smallest 5-inch smartphones (casing dimensions are 143.4 x 70.5 x 6.8 mm). Comfortable in the hand and the case is strong and hard to distort even at very strong compress. Unfortunately it was closed structure which has no detachable back cover.
HTC One M9 is the quintessence of style and quality. The smartphone looks great and is carefully made.
The M9 casing is made of plastic and aluminum which was a big surprise, because HTC users accustomed to great enclosures made from a single piece of aluminum. Back smartphone has a rounded profile and the lens does not protrude so much on the surface of the cabinet as the Samsung Galaxy S6.
The HTC One M9 is somewhat broader (144.6 x 69.7 x 9.61 mm) from the Galaxy S6 and like LG G4 has a tapering profile so that the longitudinal edges of the housing are thicker than the smartphone LG. Unfortunately, HTC M9, like the Samsung Galaxy S6 has a closed structure of the housing without the possibility of detaching the rear flap and quick-change battery. Headphone jack located on the bottom side.
LG G4 profiled thanks to special chassis and a thin frames housing looks modern and the case seems to be very thin.
LG G4 is the largest smartphone with a test three (148.9 x 76.1 x 9.8 mm), but thanks profiled housing makes the thinnest impression because the edges are thick chassis literally a few millimeters. The manufacturer could afford such a structure, because the buttons to start the smartphone and volume control are not placed on the edges and on the back of the case (as in the models of the LG G2 and G3). This unusual solution, but in the long run turns out to be convenient, although it requires habits.
LG G4 nicely in the hand and what’s important, you can remove the back cover and remove the battery (it also placed under card readers Micro-SIM microSD). HTC M9 also has a memory card reader, but works with smaller nano-SIM cards. Samsung Galaxy S6 has a card reader Nano-SIM, but does not support memory cards. LG G4 and HTC One M9 have a similar weight (155 and 154 g), the Samsung Galaxy S6 is almost 20 grams lighter (138 g).
The Samsung Galaxy S6 is the most handy smartphone with tested three, but the greatest impression and the most practical housing is, according to us LG G4, but is the choice for people who like more smartphones.
