During the fair CES2015 I had the opportunity to play with two new models of phones, which are about to enter the Polish market. This refers to the Samsung Galaxy A3 and A5.
Earlier, I did not pay much attention to the information on these phones, because the more I was surprised. Samsung launches low-cost smartphones, which in my opinion looks better than the Samsung Galaxy S5 or even new iPhones.
this year’s releases and announcements can be seen after that it was on this segment of the company wants to focus on in 2015. Risks of a failure of the sales at the flagship model will therefore be amortized very respectable average shelf, which will be just the Galaxy A3 and A5 and E5 and E7. A multitude of equipment does not really help me a while to understand the portfolio of Samsung. When it comes to premium shelf everything is clear, and the new models in the lower segment may also cause a problem for customers who are not quite know what to choose.

The model with a higher number lived a 5-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1280 × 720 pixels, quad processor clocked at 1.2 GHz, 13 Mpix camera (provided by the main module photo). Users can count on 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory (expandable with microSD cards). The picture is completed battery with a capacity of 2300 mAh and Android 4.4.
In the case of the Galaxy A3 has a smaller screen: 4.5 inches with a resolution of 960 × 540 pixels, the same processor as the A5, 8 megapixels main camera. When it comes to first impressions of the A3 and A5 fun they are very good. It’s hard to believe that it will be mid-range hardware with looking at the quality of workmanship. The aluminum housing makes an impression that we have in the hands of high-end phone.
Aluminium, which are housed both models is well-matched and made with reasonable accuracy. For all that, the two models are very thin A3 is 6.7 mm, and the A5 is only 6.9 mm. But we have no problem with keeping these models in hand. Aluminum is not perfectly smooth when it comes to your back so you do not have the impression that in a moment wymsknie us out of your hand.
When it comes to the system we have here, of course, Android 4.4, which is on both phones works very well. With my tests I did not notice any lag or spowolnienień. But it is hard to predict system performance with completely new and clean the phone. Nor I would take today to assess the quality of the cameras in both models. During the fair, there is simply no conditions to see how to excel in these mobile cameras.
In summary A3 and A5 have made me a very good impression. If this phone will cost in the neighborhood of 1500 PLN can be a hit sales, which protect against possible stratigraphy Samsung selling premium models.
