Today Samsung officially unveiled phablet Galaxy Note 4 . We decided to see what the Korean manufacturer has introduced changes compared to the previous model Galaxy Note 3 .
Design
Galaxy Note 4 as opposed to Note 3 can boast a metal frame. In terms of dimensions and weight do not have here significant changes. New phablet will be offered but also in color “Bronze Gold” (golden brown) and offer extras such as a fingerprint scanner, a heart rate monitor and a UV detector.

Display
Display Galaxy Note 4 have grown, but as it has a much higher resolution Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels), which gives a pixel density of 515 ppi.
processor, graphics
Galaxy Note 4 offers a faster SoC systems: Snapdragon 805 (4 x 2.7 GHz ) or Exynos 5433 (4 x 1.9 GHz + 4 x 1.3 GHz).
In terms of CPU Snapdragon 805 does not provide quite as huge leap in the productive compared to the previously used 800 Snapdragon addition, it is worth noting it is a 32-bit system, which is obviously not very good news, if we recall that Android L will support 64-bit architecture. In terms of GPU we should not feel a significant increase in performance because the Adreno 420 is about 40 percent more efficient than the Adreno 330.
The other is with the 8-core Exynos 5433 system, in which all eight cores (and not four ) can operate simultaneously, and which is a 64-bit unit.
Memory
There is no change: 32 GB of internal flash memory (you can expand it by slotowi microSD another 64 GB) plus 3 GB of RAM.
Camera
In terms of the photo should not expect much better pictures. Galaxy Note 4 offers because 16-megapixel main camera (unfortunately we have here a matrix Sony Isocell not, as in the Galaxy S5) supported additional LED and optical image stabilization system. In addition, it is also better front camera with Wide mode Selfie, which has a resolution of 3.7 MP.
Communications
Here without major changes (4G, 802.11 / b / g / n / ac Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, DLNA, MHL, input 3.5 mm, Micro-USB, Micro SIM). Basically the only difference being the addition of Samsung’s Download Booster (4G + WiFi), which should significantly speed up the maximum download speed.
S Pen
S Pen Stylus has been slightly redesigned and enhanced functionality. In addition, the number of recognized levels of pressure was doubled (from 1024 to 2048).
Software
We expect that both phablety will receive an update to Android L. Furthermore Note 4 should provide, among others, new features in the S Health through the use of the said UV sensor.
Summary
Galaxy Note 4 offers compared to its predecessor significant improvement (see the difference significantly larger than the Galaxy Note 3 and Note 2). So if you have a Galaxy Note 3 and you can afford to replace it, unless it is worth to think about.
