For the three months Galaxy Note 4 will be MUCH cheaper! – CHIP

Presentation of the latest model in the series Galaxy Note was held in the conference “Unpacked 2014 Episode 2″ at this year’s IFA consumer electronics fair in Berlin, Germany. On the basis of extensive data collected by the international price comparison engine Idealo now is expected a significant drop in price of a new phabletu Samsung. Weather pricing the device is based on an analysis of the prices of previous models in the series Galaxy Note.

On the basis of the analysis of the data can be observed more pronounced decline in the prices of individual products from the Galaxy Note with each model. While the price of the first smartphone in the series was in the first three months of the start of sales are 92% of the initial price, his immediate successor at the end of the same period was worth only 87% of its initial price. Price Galaxy Note 3 fell even more clearly: the end of the quarter from the device premiere its price was only 75% of the initial price.

Idealo Analysis shows at the same time also another trend: while the price of the first model Galaxy Note for a long time remained relatively stable for the next two models can be observed a sharp decline in prices during the third month after the start of sales.

A similar development can be observed as in the case of the earlier forecast of price, which Idealo conducted for smartphones series of Samsung Galaxy S. In these studies was provided a 25 percent drop in prices after the expiration of three months from the introduction of the model Galaxy S5. The re-analysis showed an actual decline in prices by one quarter of the initial price – even if the period of a month longer than expected.

Based on the above analysis, the development of prices can predict that the new Samsung Galaxy Note 4 already 3 months after the announced start of sales can cost as much as 34% less than its initial price. After a year of release but is expected to fall in price by almost half (44%).
