Samsung cuts orders for the Galaxy S5. Afraid of the iPhone 6 – Computer World (press release)

In the second quarter of this year, Samsung allegedly paid to partners
order of 21 million Galaxy S5. Meanwhile, in the next
quarter of this number is to be reduced by up to 25% and will “only”
 15 million copies.

The same report says that the cuts also apply to Samsung
Galaxy S4. Orders will be reduced from 6 to 5 million units.

Why is that? Samsung supposedly afraid of approaching
great strides iPhone 6, which is expected to debut in September.
The new iPhone is to have a bigger screen and therefore can provide interesting
choice for those looking for a smartphone with a large display. Then
Galaxy S5 also does not necessarily seem to be the most attractive
 choice.
