Samsung has offered one of the curved screen smartphone – Galaxy Round. Some sources have suggested that a similar approach will be applied also in the Galaxy S5, but it seems that this does not happen.
Korea Herald reports that Samsung is not going to equip a new flagship – the Galaxy S5 curved screen. Supposedly this is due to the limitations in the production of this type of display. Koreans are now able to produce around 500,000 per month such screens, so not enough to meet the demand for new flagship smartphone.
Korean company analyst Eugene Investment & Securities – Kim Jong-hyun suggests that Samsung may introduce additional time offer Galaxy S5 model of the screen, but nothing definite.
