Samsung is undoubtedly true giant, not only when it comes to home electronics / appliances, but also in terms of smartphones. Galaxy Series has done its job and gradually won the hearts and pockets of many members, and all this in spite of their shortcomings. The manufacturer offers equipment from virtually every price range to reach the largest number of customers. This solution is not surprising, there’s nothing wrong. Sometimes, however, considering the release of the next and subsequent models, which are called “new”, and that really does not contribute substantially to offer nothing but more and more clutter. An example of such a device is just unveiled the Galaxy Core Advance.

Recall that in the present market there are already two other models of this type: Galaxy Core (whose review can be found in the pages of blogs our users) and Galaxy Core Plus. Both debuted in the third and fourth quarter of this year, so the devices are still quite fresh. Both are also equipped with a TFT display of 4.3 “with a resolution of 800×480 px (217 ppi). In fact, the difference between them is slightly different specs: Qualcomm MSM8225 CPU Core vs Broadcom BCM21664 Core Plus (both dual-core clocked at 1.2 GHz), 1 GB vs 768 MB RAM, and 8 GB vs 4 GB of internal memory. Despite the weaker specification, the Core Plus debuted with the newer Android 4.2, while the basic version you can find version 4.1. What makes a model Advance? In fact, very little. The unit is a bit larger and heavier (145g), as the billet larger 4.7-inch display. Unfortunately, it is still only TFT LCD and worse, keeps the previous resolution of density going down to just 199 ppi, and it certainly will not provide the desired focus for all applications.
rest of the specification is very similar to the basic model of Core. Still we have a dual-core processor 1.2 GHz, it is still 1 GB of RAM, and 8 GB of built-in memory. Of course, there is no shortage slot for memory cards (max. 64 GB), and the whole thing runs on Android 4.2. Therefore, a larger screen larger battery is used here because in 2000 used instead of the previous two models 1800 mAh. A feature is up to 8 physical buttons, but who will actually use them? Is such a marginal change as increasing the display allows a device called new? Increasingly, I wonder if Samsung employees themselves know exactly what this really have on offer. About updates rather no way, with so many devices just no way to prepare them.
