As confirmed by the Korean media, Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will be equipped with the user identification by scanning the iris of the eye. The corresponding module will be manufactured and delivered to the factories of Samsung by another Korean company called Partron.
The advantage of scanning the iris of the scanners fingerprint is their accuracy, and hence – more resistant to any unauthorized attempts to unlock the device or validation operations performed on it. Fingerprint scanner checks about 40 distinguishing features of the user, while the scanner iris – 266 features.
It is worth mentioning that about the scanner and iris series devices Galaxy Note is said to be for several years, but so far ended just talk. Probably, this technology has long been of interest to designers of the Korean company, but only now reached a satisfactory their level of development: precision, speed, convenience.
