LG and Samsung Galaxy G3 S5. Which smartphone to choose – fakt.pl

Both models are tested for several weeks. I’m not interested in benchmarks, but what interests ordinary user of smartphones – the liquidity and duration of action, the functionality of the screen, camera, usability, comfort – everything that makes you just nice to get such a device is used.

Both devices smartfopny quite large – one hand can be operated with people with big hands – the S5 is operated with one hand łtwiej, because it is a bit thinner (it has a smaller screen diagonal of 0.4 inches). I had an impression that the grip is more comfortable S5. This is due to “plecków” – flat, but gumpodobnym covered with plastic. The phone is held securely even with dry hands. Some people complain about the flaky frame in S5, but after 2 weeks, this problem does not occur.

LG G3 has a rear bulged wall, made of metal reminiscent of (but it’s plastic) and smooth – thereby keeping is somehow less certain. For me, the advantage is the lack of buttons on the frame G3 (adjust the volume and switch the smartphone is on the rear panel). When taking a picture in a position horizontal do not have to fear that disable my phone or extinguish the screen.

Same screens are very good in both models – but without a doubt the brightness of the S5 is higher. For this LG dominates the size of the screen (as many as 5, 5 inches!) and szczegółowścią mapping. This is a huge advantage resolution – 1440×2560 pixels. Samsung has “only” Full HD (1080×1920 pixels). This advantage LG revenge a little – causing a small lag when exiting from the website to the main screen. Now weather widget boot from the slightest of delay. But to be honest, I was somehow not bothered. Lag when loading applications, use them, changing from one to the other, I have not noticed in normal use or Samsung or LG.

The battery life is usually ill modern smartphones – you usually have to charge it every day, unless the two times. But here’s the Samsung Galaxy S5, and LG G3, present themselves really well. In normal use (wi-fi at home, at work and LTE while commuting), with the “thrown in” photos on instagram and Facebook, both telephones durable after two days, without going into energy saving mode.

Camera Samsung has a higher resolution, but … had problems with taking pictures in difficult conditions. In the half-light autofocus themselves often can not handle. It also has problems with close-ups in a slightly better light objects very contrasting. There is also no optical stabilization. LG clearly dominates here – this is due to the stabilization and laser focus. In the darkness photo taken without flash LG comes out maybe a bit noisy (no camera cheaper than the car itself can not the council), but sharp! LG had a problem – maybe it’s just my copy – with applications that use the camera supremely. Well, try to take a picture macro instagramem often ended blurry photo. Sharp was a fragment, approx. 40 cm. But perhaps the fault of the software niedopracowania. You can get around this, “sucking” image to instagrama Gallery.

In full sun, both smartphones are doing very good pictures. Samsung camera feature rich options are photographing and filming. The LG is for a greater digital zoom (up to 6,2x). Both smartphones filmed in 4K resolution, higher than Full HD. The recording quality is impressive, but the videos are very memory-

Key features – call quality, Internet connectivity – both smart phones stand in a similar, very high level. These smartphone users who like to have a radio G, you will find them only in the LG. Samsung Galaxy S5 competitor dominates the water resistance. Both smartphones you can buy – out of GSM – already in a similar price (since 1600 zł). So which to choose?

It depends – if you like to take photos at night and in the evenings without flash, do not you run during the rains and storm in orienteering – select LG G3. If deszczoodporność is more important to you and do not depend on the big screen and the radio on your phone, select Samsung Galaxy S5.
