Meizu finally officially presented the upgraded version of its flagship smartphone – model MX4 Pro.
Presented in September Meizu MX4 is one of the most interesting devices, which in recent months presented the Chinese producers. According to the announcement of its Pro version is even better equipped. The smartphone also features a slightly modified design of the physical Home button below the screen, in which is placed the fingerprint reader.
The reader – like the iPhone – protects the layer of sapphire glass, and the entire solution was named mTouch. Meizu boasts of its high sensitivity (up to 508 PPI), which is intended to enable the use of the scanner even when you have a wet or dirty fingers. The company also claims that the reader is able to recognize the fingerprint in just 0.5 seconds, making it possible to instantly unlock your phone or authorization of payment.
Meizu MX4 Pro is equipped with a larger, 5.5-inch panel that prepared the company Japan Display (JDI). The screen operates at a resolution of 2560 x 1536 pixels, so it has a pixel density of 546 PPI level. Display brightness is 450 nits, which is pretty good, but not stunning result. The front panel protects course, Gorilla Glass glass layer 3.
The device is based on a system Exynos 5430, made a 20-nanometer lithography process. The unit already known from Alpha Galaxy uses four Cortex-A15 cores clocked at 2 GHz, four weaker units Cortex-A7 1.5 GHz and the Mali-T628 graphics MP6 clocked at 600 MHz. Samsung chipset supports big.LITTLE technology, and this works with 3 GB of RAM. Long work to provide a battery with a capacity of 3350 mAh.
The Chinese also used to praise the camera. It has a 20.7-megapixel Sony Exmor RS (IMX220) and panoramic (300 degrees) optics for brightness F / 2.2, which consists of 5 lenses. The camera can set the focus at the time of 0.3 seconds, record video in 4K quality and take pictures in burst mode at 100 frames / s. Meizu has done the double, tunable flash and sapphire crystal to protect the lens. The front cam has a matrix of 5 megapixels and complex wide-angle optics 4 elements (84.4 degrees).
Meizu MX4 Pro to be a device that will appeal to fans of good sound. The equipment was in fact equipped with a TI OPA1612 amplifier, the new DAC master clock and a number of other technologies associated with Hi-Fi sound. The company has also set a new reduction system sounds coming from the environment. On board the smartphone can also be found m.in .: LTE module, Bluetooth 4.0, dual-band Wi-Fi, NFC and GPS / GLONASS.
New Chinese company based on Android 4.4.4 KitKat, which is covered by a cap Flyme proprietary OS. MX4 Pro will be available in three versions capacitive – 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB. The basic variant of the device is priced at $ 410. The smartphone will soon appear on sale in the Chinese market, but Meizu betrayed not have any details about the availability of the device in other countries.
