In my hands got today the latest in a series of flagship Samsung Galaxy Note marked number 4 first encounter with him is very positive – quality Note’a 4 away from its predecessor small, but still the gap.
The first thing that strikes the eye is the careful execution. Note 4 is heavier than the trio, but makes up for materials used and slightly better contoured lump. Edges smartphone seem aluminum, are also slightly przyszlifowane, which gives a feeling of a lump use premium hardware.
Back made of this pretending the plastic skin, which, as I know from experience is comfortable and ergonomic, while the smartphone screen is slightly rounded at the edges. I’m not sure it’s a good idea – easy in this way of scratching – but aesthetically it looks great. At the same time Samsung gave up the place at the bottom microUSB 3.0 port and returned to the “traditional” microUSB. Just when I could fall in love with the new port.
deserves special attention for a screen resolution of 2560 × 1440. As it happens SuperAMOLED-oh, the colors are a bit distorted, but the resolution and clarity even in difficult lighting conditions are above average. Note 4 lived to see a greater alignment function keys – there is no menu button is a key multi-tasking, and Google Now – in accordance with the guidelines of Google – starts after holding the Home button.
The top four already used the new TouchWiz, the known Galaxy S5, which is more “flat”. Camera application is also new, and introduced four Test functions only during everyday use. After a few hours I can see already that switching applications or running them is very smooth, but it can be a matter of elaborate, elegant animation or hiding application development and interface elements.
But I have a feeling that Note 4 is different than Three class of device. Primarily due to higher performance and so-called “feeling”. Even typing on the onscreen keyboard is pleasant here, strange as it sounds. And the gaps between the screen and the edge did not notice, because it does not exist;)
